Beaumond House Community Hospice is a registered charity committed to providing supportive palliative care to patients and their families living in Newark and district, an area of approximately 15 miles radius.
We have 4 beds for respite care, 11 day care places each week day and offer nursing care in the community. We are fully registered with the Care Quality commission
We are contactable 24 hours a day, 7 days per week, to provide a friendly ear, general information or to signpost patients, relatives and carers to appropriate resources, services and self-help groups in the Newark area.

Helen Hume Louise Sinclair
Our Heads of Care, Louise Sinclair and Helen Hume manage the dedicated team of staff and volunteers who offer physical, emotional, social and spiritual support to patients and their families. Our staff team includes: care, catering, housekeeping, chaplains, administration, fundraising, and complementary therapies.
We are proud of our ‘home from home’ atmosphere promoting:
• Comfort and peace.
• Choice; about care, menu choices, drink, visiting arrangements and rest times. We aim to
provide what the patient wishes.
• Time with families; open visiting hours and support and provision for visitors.
Our services are provided for people who have a life-limiting condition with palliative care
needs, are over 18 years old and live within a 15 mile radius of Beaumond House:

Referring a Patient
Anyone can make a referral for all or any part of our services, with the patients' permission. The Care team will process the referral, including contact with the patients' own GP. The minimum age for referrals is 18 years.
Completed forms can be faxed to our safe haven fax number 01636 613262 or scanned and emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org
Each patient remains under the care of their own GP whilst accessing any service at Beaumond House.
All information received about patients or carers is kept confidential.
