Our URGENT appeal

Our Urgent Appeal

For 25 years the people of Newark and the surrounding areas have offered their continued and outstanding commitment to the work of Beaumond House.  The tireless fundraising and contributions have enabled the service here to develop into a place that holds a unique space in all of our hearts.

At Beaumond House our ambition is to ensure that we can help every single person from Newark and the surrounding area who needs us at their most difficult times of life.  We believe that the care provided by Beaumond House is second to none and that it should be available to everyone who would like to be supported by us. We can only achieve that dream with the support of people like you.

It is becoming increasingly hard to raise the funds we need to continue to provide our unique, care, support and love to the hundreds of people whose lives we touch every year. I am therefore appealing to you, whether you have already been touched directly by Beaumond House or have a loved one who may need our support in the future to consider (increasing your current gift) making a gift to Beaumond House.

You can make a huge difference to the lives of local people by supporting Beaumond House. There are lots of ways you can help including:

  • Making a donation. You can do this by clicking here
  • Supporting our Be Bright Blue for Beaumond House campaign, which will run during Hospice Care week 5th - 11th October. Find out here
  • Become a regular giver
  • You can find more ways to support us by visiting our fundraising page

Making a gift to Beaumond House you will help us to make a difference to the lives of people like Julie Morgan whose mum, Irena came to Beaumond House in June.

“Thank you for taking such good care of mum during her last days. Thank you for printing out my e-mails and pictures to her. Thank you for everything that you do, in helping others during their hour of need. If places like Beaumond House didn’t exist, I don’t know how families would cope.  I actually wasn’t aware that there was places like this in the UK.  I thought that everyone was sent to old people’s homes or the hospital to die; but Beaumond isn’t like that – and I’m glad that mum’s life ended in a house that felt like home, but had the comforts and care available”.

Donating just £3 a month for a year could help us to pay for an hour of Hospice care for someone in their own home. £5.50 a month for a year, a day care place for a day and £33 a month for a year could help to pay for a night of respite at Beaumond House.

Setting up a standing order is so simple just complete the form found here and send it to Beaumond House and we will do the rest.  Your gift will be worth even more to us if you also complete the gift aid declaration. This will mean that for every £1 you donate to us we can claim an additional 25p on your behalf direct from HMRC - it won’t cost you a penny.

We will let you know when we start receiving your funds and it will come with a huge thank you from everyone here at Beaumond House.
