You are invited to join us at our APM for a year in the life of Beaumond House Community Hospice, on Wednesday 15th November at the Newark Town Hall. Come along for coffee at 6pm with the meeting getting under way at 6.30.
l which will give you the chance to hear about the improvements to the building and the services offered. Please come along to hear how Beaumond House has served the local community, discover how you can be a part of the hospice and what we can do to help ensure the services are here for another 30 years.
Our latest challenge is to raise an extra £100,000 on top of all our other fundraising efforts by the end of March 2018 to meet our essential costs including care staff salaries and utility bills.
Last year we had 378 people registered with us and we provided 1,108 nights of in-patient care supporting 92 patients; 4,126 hospice at home hours to 212 patients; 2,509 patient days supporting 107 people with day therapy; 450 complementary therapy session for 104 patients, carers and those who have been bereaved; 560 benefit advice sessions to 175 patients and their families and 2076 sessions of bereavement support.
It will be the opportunity for us to give thanks for the support and continued commitment which has enabled us to help so many local people, which is our mission - local help for local people.
