Our nurse led in-patient team at Beaumond House Community Hospice offer palliative care and support to people with symptom control needs, extra care needs and for those who wish to die at the hospice. We are currently recruiting for a Registered Nurse to join the team part time.
The RN would be part of the team providing ’home from home’ nursing care for patients in our In-Patient Unit working 12.25 hours shifts on internal rotation. We offer access to a range of training and development and the opportunity to be part of a supportive and compassionate team.
Our hospice at home team is expanding to offer more care and support for those people who wish to be cared for in their own home.
The Hospice at Home Service brings the ethos and care associated with “Hospice” into the home environment, putting the patient and those who matter to them at the centre of care, enabling patients with life limiting illness to be cared for and to die in their preferred place.
We are looking for health care assistants with either experience or a care qualification to work with the team over a seven day period on a rolling rota.
An important part of helping to support patients at home is offering night care to enable family or the carer to rest. We are also recruiting health care assistants to work in the community overnight to offer this support.
