Beaumond House is thrilled to announce its fifth Spring raffle, offering participants the opportunity to win one of three top prizes.
This year's Spring Raffle offers a first prize of £500 cash. The second prize is a Samsung TV (factory refurbished) kindly donated by Curry's, Newark and the third prize is a bicycle to the value of £200 for Tallis, Balderton as kindly donated by a supporter.
Every purchased ticket will help Beaumond House to continue to provide personalised care to patients and their families.
The ability to continue to deliver the best care and support to local people who need the Hospice at one of the most difficult times of their lives depends on the kindness and generosity of its supporters.
Beaumond House has four In-patient beds for people with palliative care needs. It provides therapeutic activities in Day Therapy and a Hospice at Home service, providing compassionate support to patients and families within Newark and Sherwood.
This year, providing care and support to patients and their families is expected to cost Beaumond House a total of £2.2million. Statutory funding contributes around 26% towards this, leaving £1.6million which will need to be raised through donations, Beaumond House charity shops, and support from local businesses throughout Newark and Sherwood.
Tickets are £1 and can be purchased from Beaumond House reception on 32 London Road, Newark, as well as the hospice charity shops in Newark, Southwell and Collingham.
