Donate to our shops

If you’d like to donate items to our shops, we’d be delighted to sell anything you’d be pleased to buy.

Due to Health and Safety regulations, and/ or restrictions on shop space, we are unable to accept the following items:

​

• Nursery equipment including pushchairs, cots and car seats

• Duvets and pillows

• Magazines and encyclopaedias

• Knives and weapons

• Soft toys without CE labels

• Food and alcohol

• Safety equipment including cycle helmets

• Skis, ski boots and roller skates/ blades

• Videos and video recorders

• Electrical items that do not work

• Any upholstered furniture without fire safety labels

• Larger electrical items are only accepted at our Beaumond Cross Donation Centre

This list is not exhaustive and on occasion there may be other donations that we have to refuse.

We are extremely grateful for donations but unfortunately staff may have to refuse items due to their condition, or if they do not comply with Health and Safety or Trading Standards regulations.

Staff are happy to speak to customers about items that we cannot accept before they bring them to our shops.

Please call ahead if you are unsure whether your items are acceptable .
