Leave a Gift in Your Will
Remember Beaumond House in your Will and help make every moment matter.
We believe that the care provided by Beaumond House is second to none and that it should be available to everyone who would like to be supported by us.
Since 1987, Beaumond House Hospice Care has been providing supportive palliative care and support for people in Newark & Sherwood living with life-limiting or terminal illnesses. Last year, 2023/24, 1 in 4 of our patients were cared for thanks to gifts in Wills.

Why a gift in your Will makes a difference
At Beaumond House, support begins from the moment someone is referred, through to palliative care and ultimately end of life care. We also support families and carers, from helping them to deal with the pressure and strains of illness, to coping with bereavement and helping them move forward.
This is only made possible by the continued support and generous donations of our community. Beaumond House is a charity, and our services are provided free of charge.
We are commissioned through the End Of Life Care Together Alliance with monies from the Integrated Care Board, however, around 70p of every £1 we spend on care is funded by donations, fundraising and gifts in Wills.
Your Legacy
Leaving a legacy is a very personal decision. A gift in a Will is a powerful way to make your wishes known, it gives you the peace of mind that the people and the causes that matter to you will be looked after in the way you choose.
We understand that when making a Will the needs of your family and loved ones will always come first. However, once you’ve looked after those closest to you, leaving a gift to Beaumond House will help us to be here for future generations. Beaumond House offers personalised care for you and your family, when every moment matters.
Our services give patients, their families and loved ones the chance to spend precious time together, to remember, to love, to laugh and of course to prepare and to grieve.
Leaving a gift to Beaumond House is not just a donation, its continuing to support the work we do and enabling the hospice to support the patients and families of the future. Your gift could help Beaumond House make even more precious memories.

Sue's story
From the moment Tony arrived at Beaumond House and the hospice team took responsibility for his care,
I became his wife, and Rachael his daughter again.
The fantastic staff enabled us to stop acting as his carers and spend time with Tony.
Before visiting, we thought hospices were sad places where people went to die, and yes, Tony would die there, however, his room rang with laughter, the odd tear but most of all love.
Tony chose to spend his last days at Beaumond House. Being somewhere peaceful and caring at the end of life was important to him. Tony knew his friends and family would be as welcome there as they would have been in our home. Rachael and I will be forever grateful.
I have pledged to leave a gift in my Will to Beaumond House as a thank you for the care they showed Tony.
A donation in my Will is a small price to pay for such
a wonderful service.
