Volunteer Vacancies
Here at Beaumond House, we are committed to providing training and development opportunities to our volunteers. All new recruits receive a general introduction to the Hospice as well as a personal induction to your role.
Additionally, we can arrange any further training courses that you may need, tailored to each individual.
Drivers for Day Therapy
Why not join us as a volunteer driver, bringing patients to Beaumond House for Day Therapy sessions from Monday to Friday?
We need people who can offer us one day a week, between 9.00am and 10.00am and 1.30 – 3.00pm.
We offer full training and support plus travel expenses, and can promise you a fulfilling and enjoyable role in the life of the hospice.

Reception & Administration
We currently have openings for receptionists on Thursday and Friday between the hours of 11.00am and 1.00pm.
You’d be the first point of contact for visitors and phone callers, responsible for offering a warm welcome, and able to help out with some straightforward admin. tasks.
If you’re good with people and happy with simple technology then you could be just the person we are looking for.

Fundraising & Events
Throughout the year Beaumond House runs a programme of fundraising events and activities to generate the £1.6m we need to raise locally in order to offer free palliative care to the people of Newark and Sherwood.
From manning a stall at a local event to distributing collection tins to local businesses, we need volunteers who can offer us time to join us as and when they can.
It’s a role that can be tailored to your time and inclination.

Shop Volunteers
With four busy shops in Newark, Southwell and Collingham we are always looking for people who can serve customers, sort stock, create displays or help collect furniture.
We’ll help you acquire the skills you need and you’ll be at the forefront of meeting people and representing Beaumond House. Hours can be tailored to suit – our shops are open Monday to Saturday.
